TRAINING :

The Supervision of development and training is one of the most important basis of the Social Development Office. This is due to its major and crucial role in achieving the goals of the office as it applies training courses for the victims and its surroundings beside that it organizes and carries them on in order to rehabilitate them. The courses are also done for the staff of the office in all the specializations. It also recommends the plans and the training policies and determines its needs for the staff and the cases of the office.

The commissions of the supervision:

  • Recommending the plans and the training policies and presenting them for office officials.
  • Determining the training needs for the staff and the cases.
  • Applying and carrying on the training programs.
  • Following-up and organizing what is related to the specialized programs of the staff in different departments in all the fields of their specializations.
  • Implementing and proceeding with the training programs for the victims and their surroundings in order to rehabilitate them.

Statistics about the courses that had been offered by the supervision of training and development:

1992 - 1 course with 13 participants.

1993 – 73 courses with 998 participants.

1994 – 24 courses with 278 participants.

1995 – 48 courses with 577 participants.

1996 – 70 courses with 627 participants.

1997 – 49 courses with 560 participants.

1998 – 53 courses with 729 participants.

1999 – 34 courses with 502 participants.

2000 – 66 courses with 1093 participants.

2001 – 33 courses with 579 participants.

2002 – 48 courses with 1240 participants.

2003 – 52 courses with 1295 participants.

2004 – 73 courses with 998 participants.

 

So, the total of the courses in the recent years was 476, the number of the participants was 6867, whereas the participants inside the office were 2422, and outside were 4445. And concerning the types of courses, 16 of them were administrative courses, 16 were specialized courses, and 15 were rehabilitating courses.
